Jamiyah Singapore – Seminar

SINGAPORE :  21th – 25th JUNE 2007, Jimayah Singapore successfully organized a two day seminar on the role of community leaders in promoting  the culture of durable and lasting peace.

Most of the participants came from RISEAP’s member countries (Malaysia, Sri Lanka, Australia, New Zealand, Taiwan, etc).  The speakers during the seminar were of multicultural background giving the audience new prespective of other culture in which they spend they life with.

It was recognized that in most countires, the people are of different religion, race, ethnic group, habit and behaviour.  It is imperative that each group practise repect and tolerance toward other group of different way of life.  It is equally important to cultivate culture of openess, mutual trust and harmony.
